The decarbonization of industries and infrastructures is now a central challenge in the energy transition. To reduce their carbon footprint and manage their decarbonization trajectories, businesses must rely on reliable, accessible and usable operational data.
In this context, a European technological scale-up specialized in B2B software and the exploitation of complex data develops a platform to transform large volumes of operational data into actionable insights for decision making.
At the heart of the product is an advanced system of data visualization and analysis, allowing complex information to be explored through configurable dashboards, interactive maps, and analysis tools.
In a context of growth and continuous evolution of the platform, the company is recruiting a Platform Tech Lead in order to manage the technical architecture of this system and to support the teams in its large-scale evolution.
Mission
As Platform Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the technical vision and the evolution of the data visualization platform used at the heart of the products.
Your responsibilities include:
- Define and manage choice of architecture of the platform in order to guarantee its performance, robustness and scalability.
- Support development teams in the use and evolution of the shared technical framework.
- Supervise and advance the engineers involved in the development of the platform.
- Collaborate closely with the Product and Design teams in order to align technical priorities with business and user challenges.
- Contribute directly to the development and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Continuously improve the performance, maintainability and scalability of the system.
Technical leadership and management
- Supervise and support engineers working on the dashboard platform.
- Oversee the contributions of the various product teams using this framework.
- Support the technical progress of developers (mentoring, code reviews, coaching).
- Foster a culture of innovation and the sharing of best practices.
Technical ownership
- Define the architectural guidelines of the front-end platform and guarantee its scalability.
- Maintain a high level of requirements on code quality, tests and engineering standards.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to define technical priorities and roadmaps
- Ensure that the solutions developed remain robust, extensible and maintainable over time.
Delivery and coordination
- Manage the technical roadmap and ensure the visibility of the progress of projects.
- Facilitate collaboration between engineering, product and design teams.
- Arbitrate between speed of execution, technical quality and business impact.
Technical contribution
- Actively participate in product development and architecture developments.
- Identify and solve complex technical problems in production.
- Explore new technologies and approaches to improve the platform and the user experience.
Profil recherché
- 5+ years of experience in the development of complex web applications.
- Excellent mastery of modern front-end and TypeScript technologies.
- Experience in the design of reusable technical frameworks or platforms.
- Strong sensitivity to the challenges of performance, architecture and software quality.
- Ability to support and advance other developers.
- Good communication with technical and non-technical interlocutors.
- Interest in issues related to data, B2B software and the challenges of energy transition or decarbonization.
